Recruitment Process
Recruitment is coordinated by the Secretariat and field supervisors. Local observers are drawn from host countries while regional observers are seconded from member organisations. Key steps: application forms, verification, accreditation and observer register.
Selection Criteria
- Non-partisan and independent
- Minimum literacy and reporting ability
- Ability to use mobile reporting tools
- Availability for deployment and training
Inclusion & Gender Balance
EHORN prioritises women’s meaningful participation, youth engagement, and inclusion of persons with disabilities and marginalized groups. Targets include proactive recruitment and reasonable accommodation to support participation.
